Well the long overdue ballast train finally headed out today to dump ballast along the Galt sub. They had finished dumping by the time they hit Twiss Road in Campbellville. Flying by are SD40-2, CP 6011 all decked out in a new paint job, SD30C-ECO, CP 5029 and SD40-3, KCS 3137. The former CN 5117 was sold to KCS in 1998 and rebuilt in to its current KCS 3137 SD40-3 style. The trio would wye their train at Guelph Junction and head back east to Lambton.

  1. Bill what a great shot. Love seeing the older power on the road again all spiffed up. Keep them coming my friend as always enjoy your photos. Cheers.

  2. FYI, the KCS is 3937, an SD70MACe

  3. I thought the 3rd unit looked like a SD70 type.

  4. Great shot Bill

  5. Nice one. I’ll keep my eyes peeled at Lambton here. Thanks.

  6. Sorry guys. I looked at the number board and with these old eyes, it sure looked like a one.
