Well, Geez !!!! About as rare as a Baldwin at Bayview..........I'm over on the south side at the Junction awaiting the passenger train and all of a sudden these two female railfans came running over. Not to pass this up, I quickly switched from my 35MM lens to a 28 for a sneak shot. After the train passed, off they went and I never heard of them again.
The eastbound? Oh I did write 3121 on my slide, I guess that must be a GP9 trailing, but who cares? Had to keep my priorities in order.

  1. Thanks for keeping your priorities strait AW.

  2. The clothing colours reminds me of Daphne and Velma from Scooby Doo. Perhaps there was a mystery afoot at Bayview Junction they needed to solve.

  3. I’ve got a TH&B Hamilton roster slide or two from a “Cheryl Tarzwell”, shot in the late 70′s, name sound familiar Arnold? Perhaps one of the mystery duo…

  4. No, it doesn’t, Dan. Thats the strange part of this. I did not see them drive up, nor see what they drove off in. You can spot there were a few cars where we all parked, but no one even mentioned the girls that I recall. They must have all had train on the brain.
PS: Nice pole line. :o )

  5. Also, MrDan..I see Bill McArthur’s blue Chev in the lineup, and between him and Reggie Button (who never saw a woman he did not like) they covered Bayivew constantly and if those girls had come back both of those guys would have struck up conversation. They must have been out-of-towners not to have been spotted by us roving animals again.

  6. Roving animals! hahahah!!1

  7. Yep, we all have our priorities, LOL!

  8. Nothing like a female railfan eh Mr Mooney? I met one at Bartlett here in Toronto and she even bought me beer and pizza! Nice one on the Baldwin. Good score.

  9. Yeah, Brad; they kinda light up the day a bit. Must be nice to get a beer and a piece of pizza. These two in my photo didn’t even give me a glance. :o (

  10. Oh my, maybe one or both are now Mom’s to someone who posts on this website!
