Going.....going...gone. The old Brampton diamonds is nothing but history. The former "mainline" and CNR connecting track covered in weeds and overgrowth. I found a trace of the connecting track however it is mostly ripped up. The signals are now dark. I will miss the banging sounds as the trains passed over the diamonds.

  2. It was only “banging” on the Orangeville line for a few yeas now. The CN side was “straightrailed” awhile ago. Just like the one at Carew. I think Melrose and Doncaster are the only true diamonds left
