During a spring evening, the shadows are growing long as the westbound Road Railer (Train 529) with GP38-2 3123 leading is viewed crossing Clyde Road on the Galt Subdivision. The train is approaching the east siding switch at Killean, which at that time was still used regularly for meets.

    Yeah, back when CP had meets at all sidings. Now they just meet stuff in Wolverton or London.

    That is true Steve. The sidings were typically kept clear for meets back in the 90′s.

    Today, there are still the occasional meets at Orrs Lake for H88 and H72 meeting trains, as they are normally able to fit in the siding.
