CN's steam era wafer logo adorns the side of CN 3309, leading E276 off the hill at Bayview. A nice way to wrap up my morning at the 2024 Bayview meet. It was excellent to see faces I haven't seen in years as well as put faces to names I have known for years.

  1. Nice to see you again after a zillion years. Great image. As for us, we caught it at Lynden West but the negative light bouncing off the sides killed the effort. Will have to hope it makes the rounds in Niagara or somewhere close.

  2. Awesome to see everyone. This was a really nice surprise to have this coming too.

  3. Also, since I’m going to bring it up, the Americans are all up in the air about the CSX “half heritage” units – this is basically the same thing?

    I like this.

  4. Having watched noodles since its creation, wafers would be a nice change. Leave noodles on the front and back with wafers on the side.
Am I talking about food? :-)

  5. Would this be a “one off” or considered a Heritage unit?
I only ask as EHH did his best to do away with anything remotely “Canadian” at CN. We were not supposed to say Canadian National and everything was branded http://www.CN.ca or noodles
