This trip was the main event of the National Railway Historical Society's 1980 convention, running from July 23 - July 27. Events included a trip and tour of the TTC subway lines, a trip to Niagara Falls behind 6060 (second last trip), TTC streetcar charters and night photo session, night photo session at Agincourt yard, GO Transit charter throughout the system, including a side trip from Georgetown to the Halton County Radial Railway by bus, 6060's farewell trip to Newmarket via Washago and return via Allandale. A train of American equipment, the Independence Limited, behind a set of Southern and Norfolk & Western power, was also in attendance with a string of private cars.
