GMD 1956 built SW1200RS #1207 - 1213 power on what appears to be a regular scheduled (no flags) transfer to CN Hamilton.

At Bayview Jct., March 19, 1978 Kodak Tri X negative by S.Danko

For a while it seemed that the action at Bayview was non-stop, more:

  1. In my three years as a brakeman, I worked Capreol yard only one time and had the 1213 for power. Never took a picture of it!!

By 1978 flags were history, extras simply displayed white class lights.

  2. In a way it’s back to being non stop, but you have to count all day GO trains.
