The pond at Campbellville was alway a popular location for many photographers over the years. Unfortunately over the years things have been allowed to grow in significantly, the price I guess of having a lot of the property here owned by the conservation authority. Even CP has allowed the brush to grow up a lot along the side of the right of way. Today this shot is almost impossible, which makes me thankful I spent a little time here over the years. The somewhat short lived Toronto-Detroit “Expressway” train 123 typically had decent afternoon lighting, and usually a decent set of SD40’s or “Red Barns”. All just a memory now. This day a nice trio of action red SD40’s lead the way past the pond.
