Caption: The yearly event. I always look forward to seeing what CP decides to stick on the spray train for power. Definitely lots of variety over the years from SD40’s to SD60’s, CMQ cowls, D&H GP38 and even a rescue UP SD70M last year. This year’s arrival in Toronto would find one SD60 swapped for another SD60, before the train would begin its journey westward toward Windsor. The overcast weather worked well for a morning westbound run, and by mid morning the train was well on its way up the Niagara Escarpment. Here former SOO Line SD60 6236 has just ducked under the well known wooden farm bridge alongside highway 401 just east of Campbellville.

Just out of curiosity (and ignorance) what exactly are they spraying?
It’s weed killer but not sure what type.
