GIO Railways crew with LDSX 7224 and LDS 269 are coupling up scrap cars onto CN locomotives that are stored in the service track at Mile 7.7 Canal Sub. and destined for SLM Recycling on the opposite side of the tracks. When completed the crew will push out the south end of the service track onto the main uncoupling six CN locomotives, then pull the scrap cars and remaining CN locomotives back north into the service track, uncouple the power, then run light power down the main to retrieve the six CN locomotives. Then proceed to spot the six CN locomotives into SLM Recycling property.

  2. That Cn well car is still there – wondering why it’s there? Fearing the worst.

    Also are the former Trillium now SLM owned alcos still there?

  3. On a June 3 2024 drive by the well cars were gone, replaced by a couple of tanks.
