OSR's plow extra train removes snow from the tracks of the Port Burwell subdivision on a mild January morning. At 97 years old, OSR plow 401005 spearheads the operation with help from OSR F units 1401 and 6508. The engines are nearly invisible thanks to the amount of snow kicked up by this unique train.

  1. Thanks to Joe Bishop for giving everyone who shot it on rp.ca the heads up. Really appreciated.

  2. *POMPF* as I got pelted with snow

  3. Authors note: I was looking through my footage and realized the plow still technically holds the CP reporting marks. CP 401005. Oopsies.

  4. Nice view.

  5. It does? It says ontario southland on the side tho.

Osr bought it from CP around 2020 as it was listed for sale while osr had it in their shop. CP used to come inspect it at the osr shop as it was CP owned… once it was posted it was..oh shit… we better buy it.

It was given a new logo shortly thereafter.

  6. Super photo Isaac, :-) .
