One of CSX's last trains on the CASO makes its way west through Canfield. Not that many years ago, you could see many NYC and C&O trains here, as well as Wabash "Red Balls" on the adjacent CN line. Now CSX is down to short trains three days a week in each direction and Norfolk Southern has been running through Hamilton since the middle of last year. Things will get even quieter when the last CSX train runs on February 29th.
