Caption: My favourite spot on the Guelph Junction Railway between the junction and Guelph has to be the “S “ curve South of Corwhin. I’ve photographed a lot of trains in this area over the years. On sunny days this is basically the only decent spot to shoot the northbound train in the morning, although this day it didn’t matter. Trailing this day is the newest addition to the GEXR roster, GEXR GP38 3523, a former Mo-PAC unit. It was also interesting this day that the two units ran the second train north and not the first, which is common practice, not sure if operations have changed?

Locomotive assignments vary by day and tonnage/switching requirements. With 3523 now in service they can have both jobs with two units.
Great! Thanks for the update.
