Hot day in July.  Trillium Railway MLW S-13 #110 switches in Merritton where the TRRY meets (and crosses) the CN Grimsby sub at mile 9:49.  The old CN yard at this location had fallen into disuse by this time as north end St. Catharines  business had pretty much dried up. The 110 was retired in 2021. I believe that is employee Marcel Lemal by the switch stand. He has retired as well. :o)

  2. Yes, you were. When it is in one’s neighbourhood, the usual practice is to take it for granted. Good that you have the photographs.

  3. I always like hearing the belching and seeing the black exhaust. Nice photo.
