In 2015 Waterloo Central ran #9 under steam to the Waterloo Cenotaph to provide shelter for folks who would need it (it was for veterans especially and their families). I posted a couple photos and this one of the  cadets in formation whom all would be too young to remember, yet today, like then,  is about these young folks learning more about what happened especially from those who may have lived through it. I would have hoped #9 ran again downtown, but it hasn't happened again and I doubt it ever will.
