Great memories in that shot ! I seem to recall that CN ran a 420 on the Dundas sub back in the late 80’s and maybe into the early 90’s. Was this the counterpart of the 421 on the Guelph sub ? CN also ran a 425 on the Dundas sub but it never seemed to have a counterpart. It was typically a 40-60 car train with a short cut of TOFC on the head end.
Thanks for the comment Aitch.
CN 421 was strictly a Guelph Subdivision train and 422 was its counterpart from London via the same routing. I did manage to see 425 as well on the Dundas Subdivision. I believe this was a train for Windsor.
Thanks for that info Jason.
