Nice. Maybe 28? An hour and thirty after departure it will be passing behind my parents house in Jarvis by the west switch, getting an inspection on the south side. A crew member will be on the rear platform looking for the Ok by a wave or a flash of the kitchen light or flashlight. Great memories.
I could be wrong in my information, but think 3666 is just a F7. In the 1960’s & ‘70’s, There were no passenger trains on the Canada Air Line other than a few mixed trains. Terry, what a wonderful recollection; little did I know this train would receive an “Oshell highball” down the line.
Both the head end and tail end crews were on the watch for the wave or flash of the back porch light to signal the roll-by inspection was underway and/or completed when running through Jarvis back in the day.
