Looks like some low-down photographer slipped into the yard by the GO/VIA station at Aldershot, but in actuality the fence was not extended far enough to prevent me from tippy-toeing around at the end of it and shooting a telephoto image. Wondering if this train was one returning to Stuart St yard in Hamilton. Power is 6001, 4110, 4122 and 4137.

Nice shot Arnold! In that era, CN was real power short, so I’d bet this was a mainline freight – maybe 449 or even 333. The GP9RM’s made it to Buffalo fairly often in the mid-90′s, and even showed up on the Lasers from time to time!

Nice shot Arnold! In that era, CN was real power short, so I’d bet this was a mainline freight – maybe 449 or even 333. The GP9RM’s made it to Buffalo fairly often in the mid-90′s, and even showed up on the Lasers from time to time!
