VIA's westbound Canadian, train 9, slows after crossing the diamond at Snider. The train will pull past my location, back around the connecting track on the right to the Newmarket Sub before it finally heads north. The new F40s were just beginning to make their appearance. Hard to believe they are still pulling the Canadian more than 35 years after this photo was taken.
