Caption: We didn't catch the bus, but at the same time, we did catch the bus (*eyebrow raises*): TTC 9119, an articulated Nova LFS bus out on a Route 36F Finch West run, dips under CP's sleepy MacTier Subdivision as the final light of the day fades. But what's this? CP decides to run a train? Yes! CP AC4400CWm 8011 just happens to plop itself into the photo on a southbound manifest freight, at the right time for once. Shutter goes click click click for good measure. A good time was had by all (smoke 'em if you got 'em).
Hanging around an industrial wasteland of ill repute in the middle of nowhere pays off sometimes (notably on days you don't get almost run over by an errant cement truck). Maybe the old farms that used to be in this area, paved over by industrial lots decades ago, have some lucky horseshoes buried under them somewhere (or maybe just years of industrial contamination, same thing).
