Run-through train CN 327 (which gets handed off to a CSX crew at a siding near the Quebec-New York border) was normally powered by CSX units until last fall. Since that time, CN power has powered this train 100% of the time, with CN power running as far as Massena, New York. Here a high headlight SD70M-2 and an SD75I lead the train through Pointe-Claire.

  1. I saw the CN 8017 on March 4th 2023 at 1535h eastbound on the Halton Sub. at Mile 42.2, leading what I thought was a 122. That partial CN on the nose is hard to miss. Great photo.
