Taken from the third floor GYO washroom window, a set of hump power 1502-1537-1519 passes over the main retarders heading down into 'C Yard' after humping a cut at Toronto Yard (Agincourt) on a chilly Feb 18th 1990.
1502 is adorned with the Toronto Yard 25th Anniversary stencil. The hump and associated 72 yard tracks is all gone now.

  1. 1502 was neat with that logo! Sad the hump is fine now.

  2. Funny…..after Harrison was gone, CP put a new gravity yard in Alyth where to old hump was. No hump was built….instead, they scooped out a “bowl” so cars released at ground level had a bowl to run into. There is even talk of putting some of the old retarders into the new bowl.
