Former Canadian Pacific Railway steam locomotives 136 and 1057, now in excursion service lettered for the Credit Valley Railway, are seen taking on coal outside the TH&B station at Hamilton. Earlier in the day they had run an excursion from Toronto - Guelph Junction - Hamilton, and are taking on coal before their return trip. Another view taken a few minutes earlier shows 1057 receiving coal.Bryce Lee Photo, Jacob Patterson Collection Slide.

  1. A wild photo. Is this an e-bay find? Was wondering what happened to Bryce’s slides. Miss the big guy.

  2. Some of his slides went to Ottawa. Bruce

  3. I’ve heard so many stories of what happened to Bryce’s slides. The fact they went to Ottawa is the one constant. I’ve purchased about 15 of Bryce’s slides off eBay from Bob Esthien of Buffalo. Supposedly Ottawa took what they wanted and returned a bunch to the family. They reached out to Bob as a dealer.

  4. Bob also bought Doug Page’s American slides when Bryce was alive. I sorted Altoona Sandpatch and Cressen and Bryce delivered them. Bruce
