A foreign power duo (KCSM 4532 & BNSF 6027) lead empty ethanol train CP 529 onto the island of Montreal over a bridge that had been closed to all train traffic earlier this day due to high winds. That bridge closure allowed me to get this shot; otherwise the train would have passed here before sunrise. Ironically the last (and previously only) time I had shot a KCS leader was on Christmas Eve in 2015 (with KCS 4610 leading CN 529).

  1. This the same train David Brook shot the other day?

  2. No, that was 528. This is the empties going back west as 529 with the same two units.

  3. Nice shot and some very interesting coincidences.
