Well here I am standing on the same spot Mr. Mooney stood 45 years earlier and looking at the field side of the former CNR Wiarton station. http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=43326 Today this well preserved and maintained structure houses the Wiarton Information Centre. The open-air addition on the left was added in 2004 and is called the "Lena V. Hatt Memorial Pavilion", it occupies the space of the former freight shed which was removed in 1971.

    Great picture. The station looks like a mini version of a combination of the Allendale and Barrie stations.

    Was there a couple of summers ago.This was when all the roads were either dug up or closed. My cousin said to stay out of town. Bruce
