Ya know, this train looked familiar. A quick search revealed you caught it coming down the former Goderich Sub (now Hamilton sub) in this shot; http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=31877
The time of day suggested the Starlite but the route down from Guelph Jct was odd. Maybe a detour ? Check out the comments. Regardless, this one’s a classic.

This was indeed a strange move. I took a stab at it being the Starlite, but no; it isn’t. Now I have no clue. ) THANKS
It’s either an Aberdeen Turn (the old east pool version, not the 90s assignment) or a detour to Toronto via Hamilton & CN joint section. As noted in the earlier photo’s comments, I don’t recall those wooden Livingston crates ever going to Hamilton.
