Caption: A pair of FPA4s, 6776 and 6786, lead a passenger extra eastbound out of London, Ontario on September 19, 1970. Location shown is map is just a guess as the photo was taken a short distance east of the station.
Classic power and classic passenger equipment. Several of those 5100, 5200, 5300 & 5400 coaches were eventually relegated to the N.O.D. Engineering Special as CN 40100-CN 40112. They roamed the Ruel and Caramat Subs. back in the 1970′s & 80′s delivering employees and supplies to the many gangs that were played out across the ‘west end’.
Nice photo, white flags are bonus. The photo is looking west from the southwest quadrant of Rectory St..
