1501 and 1508 were regularly on the hump sets then, however not long after they were freed and could be found assigned to Galt, Guelph Jct. and even Woodstock.
Circa early 80′s, CP had rebuilt them (GP7′s first before the 9′s) and sent them out to various yards, including Toronto Yard to replace the 7400-series hump SW’s. Many of the same units stayed at their assigned terminals for years, becoming “regulars”.
