An Amtrak requalification run is heading to Montreal's Central Station as it passes the mostly drained Peel Basin, with AMTK 111 up front and AMTK 93 bringing up the rear. While Amtrak service to Vancouver and Toronto was restored earlier this year, there is still no concrete date for the resumption of regular Amtrak service to Montreal. This train will run to the border and then back to Montreal.
