Caption: TTC PCC 4384 operates on an eastbound Carlton run, diverting southbound over Parliament Street between Carlton and Gerrard. The streetcar is passing a row of Victorian-era houses home to Wayne Furniture, at the time celebrating its 45th birthday.
From some research online, it appears Wayne Furniture stated off selling Radios as the Wayne Radio Company at 446 Parliament Street in 1944. It was opened by Max Wainberg and his sons, and operated through three generations of the family. Other information on the business is hard to find, but it appears they may have closed down sometime in the 90's or early 2000's.
