The Dash 8's? Pictured here, gone. 615 (nee Stelco 7) still here, but out of service. The building? Gone. How fast things change.

  1. Nice the way you caught the 615′s headlight on full power. The 2187 didn’t get many miles out of the new paint job?

  2. That is a great shot Steve… I toured that building in the fall of 21 and it was rough…they are now ready to build to suit new for the right tenant….the scarcity of once plentiful heavy industrial buildings in Niagara is a major problem for anyone looking for space

  3. There’s a scarcity of companies willing to jump onto build to suit too…. it’ll stay vacant for decade(s) like all the other build to suit places…. so many greenfields available elsewhere, there needs to be better programs in place to re-use brownfields.

Welland area is littered in them…. they need to be re-developed…. or we’ll be stuck with the blight for a very long time.
