It is 16:00 hrs. on this bright, sunny, and cool August 4th afternoon when I find the Churchill, MB yard littered with idle power. HLCX 1041, LLPX 2605, & HLCX 1046 came in on the morning wayfreight, and HLCX 1084 is used on one of the GREX Dump Trains working out of the yard. VIA 6448's nose is just visible at the right of the frame as it sits powered down and receiving a transfusion from the 480-volt wayside power source.
