Normally entering Montreal in the afternoon, a very late CP 223 is approaching Montreal the following morning. Veteran AC4400CWs CP 8580 & CP 9802 are up front, with CP 8855 operating mid-train. It has intermodal traffic all the way to the DPU, with mixed freight behind it.

  1. Michael, always enjoy your “river water” pictures, such scenic shots, and as in other similar photos taken by you, the beautiful shades of blue of the sky and the wide St. Lawrence River add so much. My guess is you are looking west with Honore Mercier Bridge behind you. Is there public access to the edge of the river at this site, such as public park land ? Thanks for posting, John

  2. Yes, I am nearly standing under the Mercier bridge. There is a bike path up high that follows the river, but at river level where I shot is not as accessible.
