Located on Cache Lake, Farlane station was built in the 1920's to serve recreational cottages around nearby lakes. One of my last trips by this location.

  1. I saw Farlane station in March of 2020, December 2021, and June 2022, while travelling on The Canadian. Its condition had deteriorated more at each sighting. Looks like it won’t be long before it falls in on itself and CN will be forced to move the debris off the right-of-way.

  2. I’m a station guy…so this makes my day as I’ve never seen a photo before of this building!

  3. Todd, Glad your enjoyed the photo.
