Caption: 'Sucker Hole success'.... When I heard about the consist on CP Train #234 it was dark and gloomy at the house, but I figured it would be work setting out to photograph it anyway. I headed out to Haycroft for the open space and as the train was delayed waiting for 131 to clear in Windsor it bought enough time that the clouds began to break up a bit. As 234 hit the Rochester Townline, just out of sight, it was dark, and then suddenly the smallest of sucker holes opened up as the train got to me. Here is train #234 with CSX 3032, CSX 3283, UP 8643, CP 9753, and CP 9377 haulin' ass as it approaches Haycroft, Ontario on September 11, 2022. Sometimes you just get lucky.... :-)
