That fine row of grain elevators is now history, but the depot at Wetaskiwin still stands as it did on Thursday 1978-09-14 at 1831 MDT for the passage of train No. 987 with 5674 and two other SD40-2s.  Today, the track side is blanked off, but the town side is active with local businesses.

  1. Gem !!!!! It is remarkable how many of the small prairie towns had 4 or 5 elevators by the tracks……and many of these same communities have none at all these days. A real shame.
