What a dank grubby day. But still, it was good to be out. Hung around Jordan Station for a bit hoping to catch a train passing and eventually was successful. CN 4483 and 9448 are westbound past the old station, now boarded up and soon to be put up on a flatbed and moved to a new location about 200 ft away. Caught this train again at Dundas. I believe it was a local running to Brantford. The station still exists as a private home, and recently received an award by the Town of Lincoln for its preservation. I do find it hard to believe all this was 46 years ago.

  1. I remember your shot of this train at Dundas, so couldn’t resist connecting them ;-)

  2. Crazy.

Crazy it’s been 46 years since this photo.

Crazy that someone saw enough sense in saving this station….and made it their ‘award winning’ home.

Crazy how we still find the little things that now mean so much….

….another great photo Arnold. Keep em coming!

  3. Aitch: I’m glad YOU are keeping track of things, because I have a rather poor memory and “search” lets me down frequently as well. :o )
Todd: THANKS. Yes, crazy this placve got saved. I just got in from going to Wainfleet and shooting the Moulton station in the village grounds. Crazy it still survives…..and looks great.

  4. Hope you time machine that Moulton station!!!
