  1. What was the event?

  2. I believe this was the event to introduce Trillium to the public in the northern Niagara region.

  3. DoctaPinklaces, seems odd they would do it 3 years after they took over the trackage from CN. Unless I have my dates wrong but I thought Trillium (PCHR) took over all the track in 1997 when CN reorganized all they smaller branch lines.

  4. In 1997 PCHR took over just from Forks Jct to Port Colborne as called Port Colborne Harbour Railway.

In 1999 Trillium Railway took over the entire Niagara Region from Welland, Thorold, and St. Catharines that’s why there was a special event. I was employed by Trillium at that time.

  5. Very cool
