Intensification is the name of the game for a lot of development in the GTA, and the new townhouses and condos/apartments under construction by Maple GO Station (on lands that were once quarries and gravel pits) are just one example. GO Transit cab car 365 does the usual 14L for the crossing as it departs Maple with northbound train #6825 from Toronto to Barrie, after unloading passengers at the old Grand Trunk station building (the shorter L6 consists stop closer to the station for the accessible car).

  1. Whoa…..I almost couldn’t recognize this as Maple! If it wasnt for the station (in the distance)….

….so much has changed even since my last visit there in 2011. Urbanization has grown quickly!!!
