Back in the fall of 2001 I made a trip up north. A stop at North Bay found a CP crew with a couple of SD40-2’s moving around some historical ONR rolling stock in the yard, including a TNO steamer, ONR 40’ boxcar and a couple of surviving European built “Northlander” cars.

  1. Did those TEE Northlander cars go back home as well?

  2. I believe these are the only ones that were saved.

  3. Those ONR Northlander Tee Trains sure have had a troubled life …

I’ll have to make my way up to North Bay sometime this summer to see if they are still behind the chainlink fence, or, if they have progressed to some semblance of restoration for public display.
