I had know this CP 234 was making its way eastward as a solo BNSF 4739 but was thinking, as usual, it will terminate before it gets here. I was doing a bit of yard work when a got a message that it had arrived at Galt so I headed off to this close spot to catch it figuring I had plenty of time. I parked the truck and got out to the sound of a horn at Victoria Road so I raced through the grass and barely got in to position for this shot. UP 7467 was added to the power to make this even better. The tracker is a great thing but sometimes its off by a bit and can give us all fits.

  1. Yup don’t trust the trace to be accurate. Clerks change it all and it can be wildly inaccurate.

  2. Did it make it to Lambton? About to sniff round now.

  3. Very nice Bill! Hopefully it was only grass your ran through!

  4. Thanks Rob. So far only grass this year but the ticks are out there.
