Running for the first time in new paint, WCR 1012 is in Elmira on a photography/influencer extra - a bunch of local media and social media influencers were treated to a ride while WCR took photos of their hard work. I'm not sure how far north WCR trains usually go but I believe they normally stop behind me but due to construction the had to shove one crossing further north where a bus will meet the guests for a tour of local tourist attractions. Pictured passing Elmira Auto Care in early March.

  1. Neat angle there. That was a fun morning!

  2. Stephen, love railway pictures with “local character” included. This is definitely “small town Ontario “. And wouldn’t it be nice if the train were the daily ex-Sun local accommodation from Kitchener to Elmira and return. Well done, John
