No mistaking this location. GTW 6420 at a snails pace, works its way over the Grand towards Hagersville to lift empties out of Mattice. It seems that good power doesn't last long in Brantford, having already been sent out to Aldershot and now Oakville on 581. Thankfully, for the one out of two days, the weather cooperated.

  1. Rare Caledonia action! Nice

  2. Thanks man!

  3. Very nice. I see they sent CN painted GTW 6425 to replace it in Brantford.

  4. 6425 > 6420

  5. PS not to take away from this shot.. just expressing a general belief of preferring those standard cabs that are yet to be RC-equipped over those that are. 6425 has a novelty-sized noddle on the nose too – kinda fun. Just wanted to come back and make sure my comment wasn’t interpreted as slander! Haha.

  6. Bold claim Jamie ;) I do agree that 6420 isn’t exactly a nose shot unit, 6425 has much more to offer.
