Heading westbound thru Bayview on a nice early autumn day is CN 2323, 9506 and 9446.  The era of the M-636s is winding down, as in 6 short years they would begin to be retired.  The last years they were running they were rather common, and immensely popular with the fans.  The 2323 shown would last up until late 1996. Photo taken with Speed Graphic 4x5 inch colour neg., 160 ISO, 300 F5.6.
I find it remarkable how wild that sumac grew on the hillside back in the late '80s.
