Now this image takes me back to the days I really enjoyed. Quiet (except on the rails); no people almost no cars no noise no nothing. Wide open in the Junction. I'll wager it was a cold clear and perhaps windy day, much cooler than it looks; as there are so few cars in the Royal Botanical Gardens parking lot. And it is the Noon hour. This image of VIA #73 with 6512 and 6540 moving 7 coaches westward probably made my day.
Shot with Pacemaker Graphic 4x5 inch neg at 400 F8. Sure miss those Fs.

  1. That was a great color scheme Arnold! Be nice to see VIA do a heritage scheme on one of the F40′s. I miss those F-units too, real Canadian passenger railroading. My 1988 Super-Continental was hauled by them.
