Caption: Over the years on this site I thought I had dug out most of the decent shots taken from the Canada Crushed Stone conveyor overhang at Dundas sub mile 4; but here is another one. It was a fun spot (but dangerous) while it lasted. From high up here is VIA 6524 and 6623 running an eastbound passenger. I think it is a bit long to be #84; I have already posted #70 a while back, and it looks too early by the sun angle to be #72. So just guessing. It is a beautiful early spring day, last day of March in 1982, and in the distance one can see the old Dundas station; not long before a fire scorched it in late 1984 and its eventually demise a few years later.
As far as I can recall after this day of photos I did not go back into the conveyor again, even though it was not dismantled until early 1986. Too risky.

Nice angle on the picture.
Second unit can’t be 6623 though, by the large radiator fan it is an FPB-4.
Good call!!! My notebook had 6623 with a question mark. So, it is a mystery unit. )
