Caption: I must confess the GP9 was my favourite GMD model. Its a good thing too, because back in the 70's the CN facility in Fort Erie was loaded with them. And I liked them as old plain black with the white noodle. This pair, CN 4600 and 4601, sitting near the office........were just a couple of examples of what must have been at least 20 of them based there. CN 4600 eventually became 4009 in the early 90s after rebuild; retired 2007, as did 4601 in becoming 4101 and retired 2001.

It’s a Harvey set !! Ask anyone at CHRA ST. Kitts.
This is very cool Reminds me of the 7000 series today.
And someday down the road someone will look at the 7000 series with the same appreciation.
I already do. I chase them out when I can too and have quite a collection of them. Much I’m saving for later.
Some real goodies waiting for me to share.
