A look back when London-built CSXT units were being tested on the GEXR for a spell. Here we see westbound CSX 4837 and 4839 returning to Stratford from Toronto in the late afternoon. Otherwise it was quiet around the Kitchener VIA station.

  1. Love this. I am very disappointed I didn’t document these runs better. I got one, just one, mediocre shot! And they ran often.

  2. So Arnold how many years has it been?? I think I have a shot around Limehouse or Acton. I have to find it.

  3. You don’t really want to know it has been 18 years already, do you? Time is going too fast.
I thought my expiration date was stamped on my butt, however, cannot find it. :o )

  4. These were fun times in Kitchener. Great photo.
