On a lovely Sunday May morning, birds chirping, sounds of summer in the air, comes along something else, not quite the same melody as the others, but, it sure photographs well with the surroundings. A unit train of 33 empties is on the way north at 9:00. You always went home feeling so satisfied, even without taking a photo, after a moment like this [even better when the kids came :^)]. Taken with Ektachrome 200 at mile 26.6.

  1. Are you sure that isn’t a model train set ??? Looking way too perfect to be real…Nice job on that one for sure

  2. Darn, you figured out my ploy. :-)
Quite honestly, that’s how clean the units were. There were not many dirt specks to remove. The colour of the ektachrome seems to favour the orange/red, making those noses a little zesty. Thanks Mike.
