A quartet of SD40-2s westbound through Puslinch, passing beneath Highway 6. The east back track switch in the foreground would be pulled in just a few years. Lead unit 6603 was scrapped by K&K in 2017, and second unit, 6615, was rebuilt to SD30C-ECO 5048 in 2016.

    The SOO certainly added a classy touch to Southern Ontario. I miss those units these days.

    Yes excellent photo.

    I would say early-1990′s based on the no ditch-lights.
